TBWA\Manchester has unveiled its latest work for the on-going Manchester United brand development project the agency is undertaking.
The firm secured the brief last year and currently works on a host of projects for the club, including handling the creative tasks for its dedicated MUTV channel, a brief formerly held by Connectpoint. For the current assignment the Didsbury-based team has redesigned all of the clubs seasonal hospitality communications, pushing the numerous facilities at the Old Trafford site, ranging from suites and bars through to executive boxes.  The new work: champion stuff The agency believes the new pieces have “a contemporary, premium edge” and work to communicate and embody the passion that exists off the pitch at the club, as well as on it.TBWA has worked across a host of mediums for the brief, producing brochures, display stands, e-shots and radio and press advertising. In other news at the firm, ghd is on the cusp of launching a limited edition styler and the creative team has crafted a ‘dark or pure’ integrated push to publicise the product line. A teaser campaign broke on digital panels on London’s Underground this week, with further outdoor and press work rolling out to create consumer buzz prior to the 20 May product launch. A website has also been created to allow ghd acolytes to determine whether they themselves are dark or pure.
