Design agency The Foundry has signed up manufacturer PPG Architectural Coatings EMEA, which owns brands such as Johnstone’s and Leyland paints, to use its new online tool for creating point of sale material.
POS Store has been created by the Altrincham-based firm to help clients customise their own POS work. Based on the industry standard QuarkXPress software, the system has been designed with simplicity of use at its heart and can be used either by clients themselves or their marketing services suppliers. In PPG’s case it has signed the concept with a period of exclusivity within the paint market, allowing its own customers to adapt professional POS material to suit their individual needs – adapting pricing and headline offers, for example. As PPG’s Alice Oliver explained: “The POS Store is the ideal solution for independent stockists selling our products. It is easy for customers to use and also ensures that we maintain a level of control over the style and quality of supporting point of sale and the way in which our brands are represented. “The concept also reduces our requirement to hold such a vast range of point of sale material consequently minimising stock levels.” The Foundry has created a standalone website to market the proposition. www.theposstore.co.uk www.foundrycomms.co.uk Something to add?
