The Hub has won the brand and marketing briefs for UCLan’s Lancashire Business School, while also collecting an events contract with Creative Lancashire.
The agency has firm links to the business community in the county, also its home, and sees the new business wins as a great source of pride, as, according to creative director Steven Johnson, “we’re a Lancashire agency through and through.” In terms of the work the individual briefs entail, The Hub will be looking to use branding and advertising to establish UCLan’s business school as ‘a centre of excellence,’ while helping Creative Lancashire promote a series of technology events through designing, branding and marketing work. Johnson added that his team were “most excited about the opportunity to work on projects that will contribute to Lancashire’s future.” In further news at the firm, The Hub’s recent campaign targeting intravenous drug users – known as the OD999 campaign – has been praised at the AHC (Association of Healthcare Communicators) national conference and awards ceremony. In the Best Social Marketing Intervention category the activity picked up second place for its efforts in encouraging serious drug users to seek emergency help in a drugs overdose situation. www.hub-creative.co.uk
