Last night saw design agency The Neighbourhood in celebratory mood as the three year old firm scooped the accolade of the Manchester Evening News young business of the year.
Online Neighbourhood
The firm, which counts names of the order of Sony Playstation, Renault, Visa, BBC, Urban Splash and Manchester City on its client roster, beat competition from interior studio NoChintz and outsourcing consultancy firm Optimum Business Solutions to collect the gong.

Agency MD and founder Ben Davies commented: "The four founding partners of The Neighbourhood, Jon Hey, Jon Humphreys, Tim Woods and myself have all worked very hard over the past three years to build our ideal place to create great work, and huge thanks also goes out to our dedicated team who we couldn't succeed without.

"We are very proud to be succeeding in Manchester, a city we all love, and this award will help us achieve our future plans."

The firm has enjoyed a 100% staff retention rate since starting up and has now accumulated some 18 different awards for its work.
