The Merseyside Partnership is currently lining up a field of agencies to play off against one another for the chance to win the England’s Golf Coast marketing account.
England’s Golf Coast is the ‘brand’ name for the region stretching from The Wirral to the North Lakes, an area that contains “20 of the most naturally beautiful golf courses in Britain.” These include the three famous Royal Links courses, Birkdale, Liverpool and Lytham & St Annes. TMP wants to continue its push to position England’s Golf Coast as the country’s premier golf destination brand, establishing awareness of its offer within the golfing fraternity and drawing further visitors and investment into the North West.  Birkdale: Open in 2008 With regard to this it is now seeking an agency that has the depth in its all-round game to drive the campaign across a range of formats. The successful firm will be charged with the creation of display and outdoor advertising, digital campaigns, brochure work, merchandise, exhibition stands and managing and creating all other printed collateral deemed necessary for the push. Teams that think they can make the cut have to apply prior to the 11 February deadline. The budget for the on-going campaign has not been released as yet. However, it is known that TMP want to appoint an agency for a contract of at least a years duration and that a significant amount of the activity will revolve around the 137th Open Championship, due to be played at Royal Birkdale in July. www.englandsgolfcoast.com
