There seems to be an air of serendipity surrounding the news of the latest client win for Manchester-based design firm Corporation Pop.
The firm, (seemingly) named after what comes out of your taps, has been selected to produce the international corporate brochure for the UK’s largest listed provider of the stuff that comes out of your taps. In short – Corporation Pop has been hired by water company United Utilities. UU is looking to release a brochure that communicates its services, products and sustainability credentials to senior corporate clients in both the public and private sectors. CP will now design the publication, set for release next month, after triumphing in a three way pitch for the job. Rachel Roberts, head of customer communications at United Utilities, said of the agency: “Corporation Pop demonstrated a real understanding of our business through their creative approach to the brief. “We were impressed by their design capabilities as well as the lengths they’d gone to in terms of understanding our competitors and look forward to working with them.” She did not say: “And their name is ace too.” The brochure will be distributed regionally, nationally and internationally. www.copop.co.uk
