Vertigo wins "six figure" Mateus campaign |

MC2 ’s consumer division, Vertigo PR , has won a national campaign for Mateus Rosé.
The six figure contract over three months is aimed at revitalising the picnic – and making sure that you pack Mateus along with your rug and sandwiches.  Vertigo Celebrity chef, Simon Rimmer, will front the campaign and top hamper producer, Virginia Hayward, are producing commemorative luxury baskets. Vertigo will be working with Cord Promotions, OMD Manninggottlieb and Euro RSCG on the campaign, which has already signed up Heart FM as media partner. “We have a long-standing relationship with First Drinks Brands through our work with Bénédictine, and it’s great that they came to us for such a huge project,” said account director, Abby Wright. “Simon Rimmer was the ideal choice for the campaign and it’s a real bonus to have him on board. He has a true passion for British food and outdoor eating, and he’s renowned for his delicious but easy-to-follow recipes – so faux pas like bruised bananas and soggy sandwiches should be a thing of the past!”Something to add?
