Following a competitive pitch, Reform Creative has been appointed by the Walker Art Gallery to create its 2008 advertising campaign.
The Manchester design consultancy pitched against nine other agencies to secure the brief to design and develop local and regional outdoor and print advertising aimed at raising the Liverpool gallery's profile during the Capital of Culture year.
The Walker has a twofold objective for the campaign: to be known as the principal destination to enjoy “fine and decorative art in Liverpool” and to highlight the three major exhibitions planned for 2008.
Tracey McGeagh, director of marketing at National Museums Liverpool said: "We want the Walker to be at the top of everyone's Things To Do list during the capital of culture.
“Reform share our excitement about the gallery, and have worked with us successfully on previous exhibition promotions. They are a creative and flexible team and we are glad to have them on board."
Reform is also working with Hope University and the Bluecoat arts centre in Liverpool.
