Recently launched personalised greeting card company Whamoosh is garnering publicity, and support for British troops, with a new festive push promoted by retained PR agency Weber Shandwick.
 Wogan signs up The firm, which also had agency input from Wilson Cooke to help it get off the ground, has struck upon the idea of enlisting celebrities to sign a giant five foot Christmas card set to be dispatched to the troops stationed at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan.So far celebs haven't been slow in coming forward, with, to name but a few, Jonathan Ross, Terry Wogan, Michelle Keegan, Peter Kay, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Clarkson, Paul O’Grady and The Sun’s Page 3 girls all dipping their ink in to send their wishes. In addition to the super-sized greetings, the armed forces are also set to benefit from Whamoosh's pledge to donate 50p from every Christmas and birthday card sold to the Army Benevolent Fund. Whamoosh! co-founder John Bickley said he was "thrilled that such well-known celebrities have backed this initiative."
