Wonder Associates have been behind a Horrible marketing campaign for Imperial War Museum North’s latest exhibition.
Poster They won the pitch for The Horrible Histories installation at the museum and designed all marketing materials including outdoor and press advertising.Promoting the exhibition around Terry Deary’s best-selling children’s series, the campaign is based around the 90th anniversary of the end of WWI. The brief was to target children and their parents and Wonder’s mail outs included pull outs and collectable cards. Of course with “horrible” being a key message, they have used statically charged die-cut print which clings to any surface to get the message out through life-sized rats sniffing out facts. The museum’s marketing manager Catherine Armstrong said, “They have stepped up to the challenge and provided imaginative and engaging products which are relevant to our audiences.” Something to add?
