Design agency Wonder Associates has produced some eye-catching solutions to publicise the upcoming Family Friendly Film Festival in Manchester.
Wonder stuff The firm was commissioned to design and produce the identity and marketing literature for the festival’s third annual run by event organiser Arts About Manchester. To appeal to the audience the team chose a suitably family friendly creative approach and conceived what they term as “an illustrated family of quirky little monsters” to connect with children and parents alike. Leah Byrne from Arts About Manchester said the end result is “beyond what we hoped for” giving the festival “a look and feel that we are incredibly proud of.” Those of a family persuasion that might be interested in the event can catch the programme of activities across ten days and ten citywide venues next month. Highlights include a film inspired pyjama party at The Manchester Museum, pirates day at the Opera House and the best in Manga at Urbis. Wonder is gaining an increasing pedigree in the arts sector, having recently released work for the Imperial War Museum North. www.wonderassociates.com
