Write Angle wins apprenticeship brief

Chorley-based PR agency The Write Angle has been appointed by apprenticeship specialist Vital Skills Training.

Vital Skills, a subsidiary of Salford-based engineering recruitment business Vital Services Group, is planning to recruit and train 270 apprentices by June 2012.

The Write Angle said it will be working closely with Vital’s marketing team to deliver a communications campaign.

Managing director Angela Smith said: “This is a great win for us. We have worked in the training and education sectors for a number of years and are looking forward to shining the spotlight on the many apprenticeship projects that Vital has underway across the country.”

Philip German, group media manager at Vital Services Group, said: “The Write Angle has extensive experience in the training and work-based learning sector and has worked with a number of high profile clients.

"Their knowledge and expertise will undoubtedly enable us to signpost our training offering within local, regional and trade media which will, in turn, generate interest in the large number of opportunities that are available in the rail industry.”

Vital Skills Training has already recruited 36 apprentices in Manchester, 24 in London and 24 in Staffordshire.
