Bowden's Your Events Ltd is merging with Liverpool-based OWL Event Management to form a new entity called Total Event Group Ltd.
OWL, which recently won a place on Liverpool Vision's supplier panel, has funded the move with working capital from the Natwest, secured under the government-backed Enterprise Finance Guarantee Scheme. OWL boss Antony Greenberg said of the move: "Your Events Ltd is a successful business that has been built up over many years and we are very pleased to have reached an agreement to join together. "The arrangement will bring many benefits such as cross sales, economies of scale and increased purchasing power when negotiating with suppliers.” Greenberg expects the deal to increase his firm's turnover by £400,000 over the course of the next year. Both agencies, which will retain their own identities under the Total umbrella, can boast high profile clients, having worked with names such as Kellogg’s, Adidas, Yell.com, BASF, Manchester United Football Club and AstraZeneca. www.owleventmanagement.co.uk Something to add?
