March traffic sees a record month for How-Do | Print |  Email to a friend

While checking out the latest stats on How-Do and our visitor numbers etc, we noticed that in March a record number of pages were read on the site – 739899 to be precise – and felt that our loyal (and influential!) band of readers might be interested to learn this.
While checking out the latest stats on How-Do and our visitor numbers etc, we noticed that in March a record number of pages were read on the site  – 739899 to be precise  – and felt that our loyal (and influential!) band of readers might be interested to learn this.

Excluding last December, the last few months have seen the site attracting a consistent figure of between 38,000 to 40,000 unique visitors a month who between them typically read between 650,000 to 700,000 pages a month. However in March, the number of pages spiked sharply, helped it seems, by additionally high traffic to news about the How-Do Awards.

No other media publication - on or off-line - based outside London comes remotely near this figure and indeed the site is now ahead of a number of leading national trade titles such as Broadcast, Design Week and New Media Age.

How-Do has also just celebrated its second birthday having launched in April 2007.

We’ve probably surprised ourselves and our readers by what’s been achieved during this brief two year period – but rest assured, despite the challenging times, we feel we have plenty more we’d still like to do!

Thank you to all our readers, contributors and our growing band of commercial partners who recognise the increasing value that is to be gained by participating and engaging with the How-Do brand.

All the best from the How-Do team: Alan Johnstone, Stephen Chapman, Ben Waterhouse, Chris Horkan and Nick Jaspan – and our technical, digital and design advisers and, of course, our freelancers.
