Ashwell moves up to deputy editor at The Bolton News |

Lynn Ashwell, formerly the assistant news editor of The Bolton News, has moved up to the position of overall deputy editor at the paper.
Her move comes as part of a broader restructuring that has seen several changes at the title. Alongside Ashwell, James Higgins has been promoted to assistant editor (content) from head of content, while Andrew McFarlane moves up from assistant news editor to deputy news editor. David Crookes also makes a move as he graduates from deputy news editor to digital content editor and John Griffiths becomes chief sub editor.
