Big Spark Publishing, based in Bury, has landed a further three airport publications adding Stansted, Glasgow Prestwick and Highlands and Islands airports to its  growing list of passenger magazines.

The company already publishes magazines for BAA's properties at Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ferovial's Belfast City.

Big Spark recently redesigned their existing BAA portfolio.

Glasgow Prestwick will be the first of the new contracts to appear with 'Flight' magazine expected to debut in July. Stansted and the Highlands and Islands magazines are expected to go live in October this year.

There will be two separate magazines for the Highlands and Islands airports. One will cover airports in Stornaway, Benbecula, Barra, Kirkwall, Sumburgh and Wick and the second will cover Inverness, Dundee, Tiree, Islay and Campbeltown.

Parker said the emphasis for these titles will be on photography of the islands' "stunning locations" – a key issue for the potential commercial revenue from tourism related features.

Parker added that the Big Spark has also just concluded a new wider-ranging arrangement with BAA contractor Green Bug Media to "strengthen the airside and landside availability of the titles and the management of the distribution.

"We are really chuffed to add these new opportunities to our growing airport basket of titles" a clearly enthused Parker told How-Do.
