Manchester production company, Centini is publishing a children's book, Twinkletoes.
Lost Puppy
The stories were written many years ago by former teacher Margaret O’Neal and she told them to her primary school pupils just before home time.
"I told these stories to children in the reception class and I’m thrilled even now when those children who are now grown up still remember the adventures," said O’Neal.
As a present, Centini director, Eamonn O’Neal commissioned Granada and BBC graphic artist, Cath Edwards to illustrate the stories for a book for Margaret.
Since then the book has been published and now Centini are looking to turn it into a television show.
Twinkletoes contains 3 stories, The Birthday, The Lost Puppy and The Backward Spell.
