Cumbrian Newspapers are launching a new, monthly magazine for women today to run in their Cumberland News title.
The first issue of ME features Nell McAndrew and a female take on beer. Reporter, Sarah Newstead told How-Do that they will look at women’s issues:
"The supplement will focus on fashion, beauty and consumer lifestyle, with regular panel testing, gossip and features."
Pickles Anne Pickles is editor of the supplement. Pickles has won several awards including a silver in the features writer category at the Newspaper Society weekly newspaper awards last autumn.
A microsite has been developed on the Cumberland News website and there will be direct links from the main newspaper site and its sister publication, News and Star.
The Cumberland News has a circulation of 35,000. Statistics for the combined websites showed 2 million views and 100,000 unique users in August. Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
