Trinity Mirror is taking more of its regional papers onto YouTube to provide additional ways to broadcast their content.
The Liverpool Daily Post appeared last month during their live blog which allowed readers to have some editorial say and see how decisions were made.
It now has forty eight subscribers on the video-sharing site.
Now Liverpool Echo and dozens more regional papers have followed suit with branded content and links to their main newspaper site.
"It's very much in its infancy but the aim is that every video we put up on our sites will be put into YouTube," explained Jessica Healy, online marketing manager for Trinity Mirror Regionals.
"We've got 20 live at the moment, but we are launching new sites all the time. Every new site that we launch, we set up the functionality and encourage them to use it." Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
