Daily Post North Wales latest Trinity title to relaunch its website | Print |  Email to a friend
Tuesday, 11 September 2007
The revamping and relaunching of Trinity’s regional websites has continued with the relaunch of the Daily Post North Wales site.

Daily Post North Wales latest Trinity title to relaunch its website

The process is being led by Trinity’s web development team in London liaising with local teams for content and specific requirements.

In addition to news, features, sport and all the regular diet, the new site aims to engage more with online readers.

Requests to readers asking them to contribute the site are clearly, prominently and consistently flagged up across the site. In particular readers are urged to send in stories, pictures and videos.

The new navigation also highlights more interactive features such as ‘fun and games’, discussion and blogs.

One new blog is being written by the editor Rob Irvine who introduces his blog with “Hello, I'm Rob Irvine, editor of the best -selling newspaper in North Wales - the Daily Post.

“I reckon mine is one of the best jobs in newspapers - editing a paper with an incredible history, with fantastically loyal readers. And I get to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth with my wife Julie and our dog Max. I'll tell you in this blog about life at the Daily Post office in Llandudno Junction.”

The Liverpool Daily Post and Echo sites were the first to be revamped by Trinity earlier this year as reported on How-Do .
