Davies leaves Metro for Canada move |

The editor of the 'Metro Life' section for the Manchester edition of Associated Newspaper’s Metro is leaving her post to move to Canada.
Lucie Davies could not be contacted at the time of writing, but a colleague in the editorial department of the paper did confirm that she would be leaving the Metro. How-Do was informed that there would be a replacement appointed in due course. A spokesperson stressed that Davies was not the paper's editor, as previously reported on How-Do, but rather one of the regional editors of the Metro's lifestyle section. The Metro has recently increased its circulation in Manchester by around 10,000 copies per day. It now targets the city with circa 120,000 papers.
