Excel launches new construction journal

Manchester-based Excel Publishing has today announced the launch of a new quarterly journal for the Scottish Construction Industry.

Entitled Construction Scotland, it will have a circulation of 5,000 and the first issue will be published in June.

Chris Newbould will edit the magazine and Paula English has been made sales manager.

"We have undertaken a great deal of research into the product and despite market conditions in the construction industry, believe we have a winning formula. Even at this stage the magazine has exceeded its revenue projections,” said Excel's operations director Gus Mackenzie.

"These are exciting times for Excel Publishing. Construction Scotland is just one of the new launches in the pipeline for 2008."
