Liz Page, who until earlier this year was regional managing director of Archant Life magazines has resurfaced as general manager of the National Trust’s York properties.

Page, who twice made it into the hallowed How-Do Top 100 was made redundant in February.
Prior to Archant, she was news editor of the Northern Echo and later became managing director of its sister paper, The Press, in York.
"There are a number of similarities with my new role from my former life – managing multiple sites with different disciplines – so much of what I have learnt in the publishing industry I can transfer to the Trust.
"The Trust, as with publishing has a long, established history with strong traditions, but is also an organisation that’s comfortable with change and moving to meet customer expectations."
