Ten Alps Publishing has picked up two substantial new publishing contracts from the AMI and the AIFA and has had a contract with the CBI extended for a further three years.
The three new contracts will be managed from Ten Alps bases in Manchester and Macclesfield. In September, in an annual listing of the UK’s largest customer contract publishers , Ten Alps Communications was ranked the UK’s fourth largest publisher of its type. The AIM-listed company generates circa £40m of its £70m turnover from its publishing and communications division which is run from Macclesfield by Adrian Dunleavy.
Dunleavy In the first of the three contracts, Ten Alps has had its contract with the CBI West Midlands to produce the organisation’s official quarterly magazine - “inBusiness” - extended for a further three years. The company has also been awarded a three year contract to produce a yearbook on behalf of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI). AMI is the trade body for the mortgage intermediary profession and claims to represent over 75% of all mortgage intermediaries in the UK. There are believed to be over 11,000 authorised mortgage intermediary firms accounting for almost three quarters of mortgage lending in the UK. The yearbook, which will be launched next spring next year, will be circulated in print and digitally to every AMI member. Ten Alps has existing publishing contracts with the Council of Mortgage Lenders and the Association of British Insurers. The final contract is a three year deal to publish the Association of Independent Financial Advisers’ (AIFA) annual yearbook, again in print and digital formats. The next edition is due out next spring.
AIFA is a trade body which represents over 70% of IFAs in the UK.
Chris Cummings, Director General of AIFA, said: "The year books will contain a series of articles by leaders in the sector, regulators and politicians who will give their views on what the future holds in store for the market. It will feature new research and analysis on the latest trends that firms need to be aware of. And, finally, there will be section for firms who wish to provide services to the intermediary community. We hope this will complement the on-line directory of services currently available on the AIFA website and make this a one-stop shop for our members."
