Hopkinson to deputy editor at Matlock Mercury |

Tim Hopkinson, 32, has rejoined the Matlock Mercury – and Peak Times - as deputy editor having started his career at the paper. He replaces Helen Durrant who has left the paper.
He joins the Mercury after spending seven years at the Derbyshire Times, latterly as a sub.
Following graduation from Stradbroke College Sheffield where he’d taken his NCCJ, he joined the Mercury as a reporter.
The circulation of the Mercury is 8,500 with a readership of 24,000. In total, the combined print and web audience of the Mercury and Bakewell Today is 120,000
