How-Do is pleased to announce that the well known media and marketing writer Alan Johnstone has joined the team as website editor.

Johnstone, previously the editor of marketing trade title Adline (now The Drum), will work alongside publisher Nick Jaspan to build on How-Do’s position as the number one resource for the 130,000* people working in the media and marketing services industries in the North West.

Speaking of his appointment Johnstone, 33, commented: “I’ve been keeping track of the site since its launch in April and I’ve been hugely impressed by the interaction, debate and interest it’s stimulated so far.

“It’s unparalleled in its ability to instantly react to developments across the industry; showing the way forward in the supply of news, comment and analysis.
 
“With that in mind this is a great opportunity for me, so I jumped at the chance to get involved.”

Jaspan, How-Do’s founder, added: “I’ve worked with Alan before on a freelance basis so I know and respect him – as do a lot of people within the industry. He’s a good guy, a great writer and the ideal addition to the How-Do team.”
