The bi-monthly business magazine LANCASHIRE businessview has extended its reach to cover Bolton as from the latest edition.
The four year old business title, which is published by Northpoint in Blackburn, was launched four years ago. It is supported by the East Lancs chamber of commerce.
Calvert The title is edited by Andrew Calvert, a former LEP business journalist who subsequently became Enterprise plc’s (formerly Lancashire Enterprises) communications manager. Local restaurateur Paul Heathcote is on the cover of the Jan/Feb issue.
Richard Slater, the publisher told How-Do that Northpoint has now added 1,200 names of Bolton business folk to the magazine’s circulation list which will now total just over 8,000. The title is mailed to a further 2,800 named individuals in East Lancs, 2,800 in central and West Lancs and 1,200 to North Lancs.
A further 1,000 copies are distributed to ‘business access points’ across the magazine’s circulation area.
Slater said that the January issue (76 pages perfect bound) is a “soft launch into Bolton and the next issue (March) will see a regional promotional feature on the town.”
The magazine is straying increasingly into territory – editorially and events - previously the sole domain of Insider and EN. Reviews of deals, staging regional business awards and commercial property round tables all surrounded by plenty of ads from lawyers and banks.
