McClarence wins Travel Journalist of the Year at Tourism Awards

Travel writer Stephen McClarence won the Travel Journalist of the Year category at the fourth annual England’s Northwest Tourism Awards held last week.

Sheffield Star columnist Stephen McClarence won the Travel Journalist of the Year category at the fourth annual England’s Northwest Tourism Awards held last week.

Kerala

McClarence, who specialises in writing about India and the Far East, works for a variety of media including the BBC, the Times. the Melbourne Age and a number of German print and web publishers.

The other short listed travel journalists were:

Barry Ellams, Chester Chronicle
Louise Tickle, Freelance
David Atkinson, Freelance
Pauline Cooper, Yorkshire Evening Post
