Bosses at MEN Media are claiming that the firm’s Jobs Mine website is continuing to break new ground and attract more visitor numbers than its competitors can muster just four months after launching.
The site, which hits screens in January, notched up early success with the news that it had claimed the status of the number one searched jobs site for Greater Manchester after its first month online.

Since then it has apparently recorded increased monthly visitor numbers (up 37 per cent) while page views have soared by 45 per cent.

This led MEN Media to release a statement yesterday hailing the site as a “unique proposition for both recruiters and job seekers,” praising its vaunted multi-platform media proposition.

The site has been boosted by a £500k launch marketing budget, with creative work by local agency Pravda.
