Football programmes belonging to Manchester Evening News journalist Tom Jackson could fetch £20,000 at auction.
Jackson was one of 8 journalists killed in the Munich Air Disaster in 1958.
 United programme He was 46 years old. His collection, dating from 1947 remained with his son. The leather-bound programmes contain all home league games and most home FA Cup ones. They even include Jackson’s written notes about team changes, attendances and scorers. The sale is being handled by Bonhams in Chester and they expect the lot to go for £18-20,000. Jackson had a regular column called United Topics in the the Manchester United programme. The collection had been featured on BBC’s Antiques Roadshow Sport Relief earlier this year. Something to add?
