Northern Journalist Awards shortlist announced | Print |  Email to a friend

The shortlist for the Northern Journalist Awards 2007 has just been released, with strong showings for Insider publications, the MEN and the Liverpool Daily Post, amongst others.

According to organisers this was the most hotly contested year so far, with over 200 individual entrants battling it out for the available gongs. The fact that the competition was opened up this year to include news and features, as well as business journalism, obviously impacted upon this.

The awards themselves will be announced at an event hosted by Greg Dyke on 22nd November at Aspire in Leeds city centre.
