NUJ and Trinity agree new pay deal |

It has been reported that the NUJ chapel at the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo has agreed on a new pay deal, after improvements were made to Trinity Mirror’s original offer.
 New deal enough for NUJ According to the new agreement all staff will receive a minimum raise of 3 per cent, with the lowest paid seeing increases of up to 6.9 per cent.The lowest paid weekly senior journalists can therefore expect to see a salary hike of over £1,000 to £17,000, with newly qualified daily seniors receiving £21,000 – a 4.2 per cent raise.
