Natalie Quinn, editor of the monthly life style title, Moving Manchester, has stepped down as editor of the publication. She has been replaced by Vicky Harris, the magazine’s founding editor.
Quinn Quinn was editor for one year.
The magazine has had a turbulent year with a relaunch in April followed by closure in May which was followed by the original owner, Michael Huckerby, reclaiming ownership of the title. Quinn now plans to freelance with a focus on music journalism. It is believed that Huckerby and Quinn were at odds over the magazine’s direction with Huckerby keener on more mainstream features with Quinn keener to cover more music.
Moving Manchester, now in perfect bound format, claims a circulation of 20,000 and readership of 48,000.
The magazine is also working with Out There Events and Key 103 on the second year of the MCR Awards.
