Men’s free weekly lifestyle title Shortlist is looking to reach beyond its current regional base and move into more cities in the North.
First up would appear to be Liverpool, with the firm’s bosses indicating that the magazine, which launched in September last year, should be available within the next six months. Karl Marsden, the MD, was unavailable to divulge further details of the plans at the time of writing. Shortlist is expecting to be confirmed as the UK’s biggest circulation men’s lifestyle title by this week’s ABC figures. These should see it clocking in between the 450,000 and 500,000 mark. The free magazine market has seen numerous new protagonists in the past year, the most recent being female title Dare.
