Simon Reynolds appointed to the Press Complaints Commission

Simon Reynolds, the editorial director of the Johnston Press-owned Lancashire Evening Post and Wigan Evening Post, has been appointed to the Press Complaints Commission.

Reynolds: new to the PCC

Reynolds was nominated for the role by the Newspaper Society and takes the place of one of two editors who have recently stepped down from the press watchdog.

An up until now constant feature in the How-Do Media 100, Reynolds is well known for making the LEP the UK’s first ‘fully-converged’ news operation in 2006.
