Big Spark publishing, which this week revealed its plans for eco-you, has announced that it has also won the contract to start producing the quarterly publication The Volunteer.
A force to be reckoned with The Volunteer is the magazine of the North West Reserve Forces and Cadets Association and as such has a remit to recruit and retain reservists, raise the profile of reserve forces and brief opinion formers. It circulates over 10,000 issues to a broad readership that includes high-ranking military personnel, industry leaders, politicians, the media and potential recruits themselves. Big Spark, which will also handle the ad sales task, takes over the brief from incumbent publisher Lance Publishing in time to produce the Autumn issue. The firm’s MD Stuart Parker commented: “Our creatives have redesigned the magazine and we are increasing the pagination to 68 pages, it's a short run publication to a good subscriber base, a nice job for us and something we can add some 'sparkle' to.” Southport’s Concept PR handles the publicity brief for the NWRFCA. http://www.nwrfca.org.uk/ Something to add?
