Trinity Mirror predicts “difficult” future |

The Trinity Mirror group which operates several newspapers in the North West expects difficult market conditions to affect its business – but it still believes it will meet expectations.
With the credit crunch and increasing costs of energy and essential items, the Group believes they will have problems bringing in advertising.
 Daily Post In a statement, it said: "This has resulted in the advertising environment remaining difficult and volatile in the period since our last update at the end of February.
"Given this uncertain economic outlook for the UK we remain cautious about trading prospects."
They are on target to save £20 million pounds this year and they are implementing a new operating model for “improvements and efficiencies to create a more robust business”.
