Tunningley to Newsquest Kendal as deputy head of content |

Alan Tunningley, 56, has joined Newsquest in Kendal as part of the team preparing print and web content for three titles.
 Tunningley The three titles are the Westmorland Gazette, the Citizen and the Messenger.
He has spent the past few years freelancing for the Yorkshire Post and various regional magazines having earlier been the news editor on the Doncaster Star.
He said however that the “Opportunity presented by Newsquest was too good to pass up as it combined an exciting and genuine mix of digital and print ambition.”
He currently lives in the Dales on the edge of the Gazette’s circulation area.
