Music and entertainment web site, What Happened Last Night (WHLN) is launching dedicated sites for Newcastle in December and Sheffield next year.
The Manchester company is already trialling the site in Newcastle with advertisers and sponsors.
News of WHLN’s expansion follows How-Do’s story last week that 2MM, the publisher of Manchester and Liverpoolconfidential.com is launching in Leeds this autumn.
WHLN claims its summer reader traffic has been setting new records for the site with 152,530 visitors in July while revenue from commercial partners has risen 40% over the summer months.
According to the publisher, Al Mackin, the site now carries over 13,000 pages on Manchester together with 2,320 user reviews.
