Lancashire-based 2ergo has won a five-year contract to provide mobile marketing services to leading phone network 02.
The deal will see the AIM-listed business using its MultiSend messaging technology to allow 02 to send personalized SMS, MMS and emails to its near 18million customers through one single application. In doing so it is said to greatly simplify the ease with which 02 can communicate ‘one-on-one’ on a mass scale. Also, by integrating the system with the network’s current CRM set-up, huge timesaving effieciencies will be achieved, allowing the in-house marketing team further opportunities to develop new customer campaigns. 02’s head of CRM Andrew Day commented: “At a practical level, MultiSend gives us the capability to streamline the many processes involved in delivering multi-media and interactive campaigns to just a single application. It will allow us to enhance further the O2 experience.” Other companies that have already signed up to MultiSend suite include Thomas Cook, National Car Rental, and publisher, Reed Business International. www.2ergo.com Something to add?
