Burberry, the coveted (by both chavs and the glitterati) fashion brand that de-merged from GUS last year, has been given a substantial sales boost through its new marketing campaigns.
Fashion followers may have deemed the apparent dumping of long time brand ambassador Kate Moss a risky move, but fresh activity featuring Manchester’s own Agyness Deyn has seemingly attributed to a sizeable 19% increase in total sales in the six months to 30th September. The firm notched up a tidy £449m of revenue in the sales period, something that CEO Angela Ahrendts said was partially thanks to “our compelling marketing campaigns.” Deyn (right), arguably the star of the Mario Testino shot work, is one of the fashion industries new young hopes – although how young she actually is is currently open to intense speculation. http://www.burberryplc.com Something to add?
