Manchester born fashion icon Agyness Deyn has been signed up as the new face of Reebok’s Freestyle shoe range.
Deyn Deyn, currently one of the most successful of a new breed of catwalk stars, will now appear across a host of promotional material for the Freestyle Cities Collection – a range that is said to have been inspired by “some of the world’s most iconic cities.”These are apparently Paris, London, Tokyo, New York, New Delhi and Madrid. The Freestyle is a classic ‘aerobic’ styled trainer that first hit the shops (and the big screen, courtesy of Flashdance) in the 1980’s. Deyn’s consumer pulling power has already been proven by the success of her work for former GUS brand Burberry. Her appearance in advertising for the brand last year was said to be one of the key factors that led to a 19% up turn in sales. www.rbk.com/us/freestyle/
