After working on a string of projects for League One football’s Stockport County, Assured Events has qualified to be the club’s official event management partner.
This will see the Cheshire-based firm, which recently won a place on Businesslink’s roster, taking charge of all of County’s public and private happenings, starting with the launch party for its 125 year anniversary DVD in September. Club MD Mark Maguire said of this: “The 125 years DVD has been nine years in the making and is packed full of fantastic content. “While we’re showing an edited version on launch night, the epic final product is some four and half hours long. “That alone warrants a truly special occasion and I’m delighted that Assured Events will be involved to ensure that everyone connected with the football club enjoys a night to remember.” In terms of the successfully completed projects so far, Assured has managed the 2007/08 kit launch for the club and two open days.
