Need funding? Try in b.TWEEN b.TWEEN is a unique concept that is part networking event, part ideas fertilisation festival and all round learning and sharing party – one that aims to merge the worlds of advertising, creative technology, film, games, TV and the internet. It connects talent scouts from large corporations with ideas that people from slightly smaller ones have, apparently all in an effort to see what comes out the other side. Interactivity is said to be the key, both in terms of mediums and people, with the pioneering flavour illustrated in a list of speakers that includes How-DoTV star Brendan Dawes from magneticNorth. There’s also an awards ceremony that mixes fairly standard sounding gongs such as ‘branding talent’, with less likely ones like ‘best exploding narrative idea.’ The event will take place at MOSI from the 18 to 20 June.
