Sales and marketing recruitment consultancy Better Placed Recruitment is looking to expand its satellite Manchester office on the back of an upturn in business.
Tomlinson The firm, which originally launched itself into the Leeds market in 2001, has reported a 45% increase in business over the last year (with turnover up to £1.45m) and is now planning to acquire a new 3000 sq ft office in Hill Quays, Deansgate Locks.Tim Tomlinson, the head of BPR’s North West operation, said of the move: “We set up our Manchester office two years ago and have been delighted with its progress. We have outgrown our existing rented office and had no hesitation in making a long term investment in the city.” The city team now numbers five members of staff – the entire firm has a headcount of 17 – and has supposedly forged strong links with clients of the stature of Kellogg’s, The N Brown Group plc and Salton Europe. In other news, Better Placed has now launched a new corporate brand. This can be seen at the firm’s website. www.betterplaced.com
