Business support organisation Businesslink Northwest is seeking to establish a new panel of marketing services suppliers in a framework agreement that is set to be worth £10m over the next four years.
The publicly funded body, based in its regional headquarters in Preston, is currently advertising for agencies to apply for the opportunity to handle one or more of its 15 separate marketing ‘lots’. Together these lots are all encompassing in their breadth – covering everything from TV advertising and marketing campaigns, through to PR and digital services. Interested parties are being encouraged to apply to BLNW before the cut off date of 31 March. The framework agreement is likely to be similar in operation to that used by Businesslink’s parent organisation the NWDA. In this respect firms are admitted to a roster, or panel, and ascribed certain tasks on an individual basis over the course of the contract’s duration. In documentation relating to the task seen by How-Do, BLNW states: “(It is a) broad marketing brief to include, among others: the development of external marketing campaigns, generation of an online profile on leading networking sites, advertising, website, internal and external newsletters, consultancy services, print, market research.” Services such as direct marketing, advertising photography and marketing management consultancy are also earmarked as important to the organisation. The pitching process is expected to start in earnest from April. Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
