Capital of Culture grants programme closing date looms

The Capital of Culture Grants Programme 2008 is closing for applications on Monday 8 October.

The Creative Communities Fund has £210,000 to distribute to non commercial bodies such as voluntary and community groups, public sector arts and cultural organisations and individuals.

The Fund awards grants of between £500 and £5,000.

The application process is being administered by the council’s community resources unit.
