City Talk 105.9 FM launches 12 week bus and outdoor poster campaign |

Liverpool’s recently launched talk station, City Talk, has added bus advertising to its promotional mix with a 12 week campaign comprising ‘Mega Rears’ and ‘Wrapped Buses’.
Karen Walkinshaw, an account manager at Starcom which planned and bought the space said: “We felt outdoor could provide the best strategic campaign for City Talk to attract new listeners. "Buses go where people go so they are a perfect fit for City Talk to promote itself as ‘The Voice of Liverpool’.”
The campaign’s creative promotes the station as the ‘The Voice of Liverpool’ by showcasing DJs such as Margi Clarke and the breakfast and sport shows. Prominence has also been given to the station securing Trisha Goddard as a talk-show host on Sundays.The campaign has been created by Liverpool agency Ampersand. The outdoor poster element of the campaign was planned by Kinetic.
