EMS has picked up the six-figure contract to manage a pan-European roadshow for well-known global technology and materials brand DuPont.
Austin: motoring The task will see the Chester-based outfit, which also works with clients such as the Electrical Safety Council, managing the ‘driven by science’ initiative - a six week marketing push to showcase DuPont’s wares to car manufacturers. So far the roadshow is scheduled to take in visits to Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania and Turkey. EMS MD Keith Austin stated that the win follows on from the firm’s best year ever, adding: “Despite increasing pressures on marketing budgets, we are enjoying record levels of business as more and more clients realise the benefits that live marketing can offer.” DuPont’s roadshow is apparently the first marketing drive of its kind undertaken by the brand in Europe. The intention is to demonstrate its product range and generate sales leads. EMS has also nabbed another six-figure contract in recent weeks, with the Royal Mail enlisting the team to run a 100-day training roadshow. The DuPont activity begins on 25 September in Poland. www.eventms.com. www.automotive.dupont.com.
