The Electrical Safety Council has appointed Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) to run a consumer UK roadshow highlighting the dangers of electricity in the home.
The Council’s mobile unit will embark on a four month tour of UK towns, cities and county shows starting in May.
Phil Buckle, director of charitable affairs at the Council said: “By involving a professional partner, we want to increase the impact of our roadshow and educate more consumers about this vital area of public safety.
“Ensuring that our message is not clouded by technical jargon is one of our main aims.”
EMS, based in Chester, employs around 40 staff. Its clients include Cheltenham & Gloucester, Macmillan Cancer Support and Typhoo.
